Suited and booted

We’re delighted to announce that we have won an award!

The DroneSwarm team won the ‘Best Aerial Spectacular’ award at the Event Production Awards, which took place at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 21 March.

We’re especially proud of this achievement since we were up against a number of other drone show companies.

Don’t we look dapper?!

Here’s what our Director, Mat Lawrence, had to say:

“This award is a fantastic recognition of our team’s dedication and expertise. We take pride producing high-impact aerial spectacles that captivate audiences across the UK and beyond.”

Coming soon…

This month, we executed a drone light show for a PR agency, taking place in a public park in Tamworth, Staffordshire, against the backdrop of the picturesque Tamworth Castle.

The display was for a PR campaign for LightSpeed Broadband to help them celebrate 25 years since the launch of domestic broadband in the UK.

From old-school dial-up to VR, electric cars and on-demand streaming, the role broadband plays in our lives has drastically changed and, for residents of Tamworth, LightSpeed has been at the centre of it all.

If you work for or with a PR agency and you’re keen to find out more, get in touch with us and keep an eye out for our case study on this soon.

On the road

Back in February, the DroneSwarm team headed to London to exhibit at the Event Production Show.

The event brought together professionals from all corners of entertainment, from music, to sport, to culture.

It was great to network and have some really interesting conversations.

So much more than what you see

If you see a drone light show at an event, you probably don’t consider the preparation that precedes it.

So what goes into planning, designing and executing a spectacular drone light show?

Well, it’s a complex and time-consuming process, often taking several weeks to design the full flight path for each drone within the show – but it’s also incredibly fun.

We’ve created a guide to explain all the steps that go into a drone light show and how we turn your ideas into some spectacular.

That’s all for this month. Keep an eye out for our next newsletter!
