On Sat 6th July DroneSwarm produced a drone light show for the finale of Godiva Festival’s Saturday evening by headliner Paloma Faith.
Coventry City Council put a tender out to the drone show industry and DroneSwarm were very pleased to be chosen against strong competition from companies both national and international who applied.
The show was flown inside Coventry airport’s FRZ but also inside a temporary Restricted Zone prohibiting persons flying unmanned vehicles without permission from West Midlands police. West Midlands counter-drone team were also present on site with equipment designed to disable drones.
Careful co-ordination was required with both Coventry Airport and West Midlands Police to conduct our drone light show.
